Cefazolin sodium, an organic compound with a molecular formula of C14H13N8NaO4S3, is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. The antibacterial spectrum is similar to cephalexin, against Staphylococcus (including enzyme-producing strains), Streptococcus (except Enterococcus), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella, Haemophilus influenzae and Enterobacter aerogenes, etc. Has antibacterial effect. This product is characterized by strong effect on Gram-positive bacteria and weak resistance to β-lactamase of Staphylococcus.
